Fun maths board games that your children will love to play again and again.
12 maths games designed for you by former primary school teacher and dyslexia specialist – Christine Towndrow. Christine’s games are designed for a variety of different abilities including special needs. These games encourage your children to learn by boosting their confidence which can often be shaky after repeated failure in maths.
Each A3 (29.7cm x 42cm) board game is double sided providing 12 games altogether for 2-4 players. All the games have their own set of rules and counters packaged neatly in clear zipper bags. We know you’ll be so impressed with the colourful boards and the fun and laughter that these games create (not to mention the learning that’s going on) Every child I know has been bought a pack!
“Snakes & Adders gives me the perfect opportunity to practise numeracy skills in a fun and relaxed manner. Our six-year-old son thoroughly enjoys working out the sums (for himself and the other players!) and regularly asks to play the games again. A fabulous, effortless and effective way to support the curriculum.” F. Christiansen (Parent)

SEN Notes:
Visual Learners: Designed specifically for children with learning difficulties to boost confidence. Bright, colourful images for entertainment and as learning aids.
Kineasthetic Learners: Children who love to touch can be very hands on with these games, lots of counters and bright colourful pictures protected by laminate covers.
Children with learning difficulties can be quite sensitive to noise such as the sound of dice clashing down on the table. This can be alleviated by dropping the dice on a cushion or felt / fabric surface instead.
“The math games were very popular with the pupils who didn’t realise they were learning, though they were having fun.” C. Dennis (Dyslexia Tutor)
