Absolute brilliance, from initial ordering, to final delivery service was second to none, and the actual game itself my daughter loves. I always try to find something fun for her to do, whilst learning at the same time, and Nessy Games Player is one of those great products that is both. Thank you!

Your service, the books and the after care are all excellent. As the mother of a struggling reader, seeing my son sitting in the garden reading happily - for the first time ever - really brought a lump to my throat. Thank you for producing books he enjoys and by doing so for helping his reading improve.
— Mrs P Kay

Rating by Ms Linda Duncan on :
Firstly can I just say what a fantastic resource this is and thank you for putting together something much needed and hard to find! I have a Primary 2 class and have within it a few children with b d reversals. In the short time I have been using it, I have noticed a marked improvement and the children find the resources fun and easy to use. They especially like the bright colours and the character. I showed it to my deputy head who was going to look at buying in more for the school. Keep up the great work. You’re filling a gap that is so important! Ms L Duncan Primary School Teacher
Rating by Debbie Took on :
My students loved the games and materials! They would ask me ‘Can we play Bulldog again?’ Not only were the games fun for them, but they are confusing b/d far less now, and with more of the games (and flashcards) confusion will soon be a non-issue. The worksheets have also been popular with the children (and parents, for homework). Greatly recommended! Debbie Took, primary school teacher, Henley-on-Thames
Rating by Karen White on :
An inspired resource of fantastic easy to follow activities. The Bulldog character appeals to the children, providing an attention grabbing focal point. Through the program there is clear development of skills and abilities. Karen White – Learning Support Assistant. Bartley Junior School, Hampshire, UK.
Rating by Mrs Debbie Short on :
A fantastic series of activities that ensures progression of learning with my children. The simplistic appearance of each activity is deceptive as each builds into the next stage of development of recognition and skills. Children will fall in love with Bulldog and won’t realise they’re learning! Teachers and Teaching Assistants will love the series of activities that can be done with support and independently. Very much recommended as an essential classroom resource. Mrs Debbie Short Primary Teacher & Year 3 Head of Learning and Standards Southampton. UK
Rating by Jackey Gurney on :
The worksheets are carefully structured so that the level of support provided is gradually reduced. The games are interesting as they involve strategy. The children say the letter sounds b and d many times without becoming bored because they are focused on winning the games. Jackey Gurney B.Ed Dip RSA SpLD. Private Tutor Eastleigh, Southampton. http://www.schoolskillsclub.co.uk
Rating by Clare Rimmer on :
I spent along time searching for a suitable resource to help our students who were experiencing problems with b/d letter reversals. Thankfully I found the Bulldog Letter Reversals pack and our students love it. The desk prompts are really useful and the children use them in our tuition centre, at home and at school. The worksheets and flashcards allow us to focus exclusively on b/d letter reversals with the Bulldog character provides a memory strategy that shows them a clear difference between the two letters helping them to grow in confidence and increase reading fluency. I can highly recommend this scheme and I know the children I teach would too. Clare Rimmer Centre Director Kip McGrath Lisburn – Ireland.
Rating by Kelly Barrett on :
I have tried lots of techniques as a teacher to tackle b/d confusion but have found Bulldog to be really effective. I especially like the way it is so easy to differentiate for different ages and abilities so an older child with b/d confusion doesn’t feel they are being given “baby work”. The younger children I have used it with enjoyed the play element and actually formed a queue to play! I thought the pack was extremely good value for money too and I would highly recommend it.” Kelly Barrett B.Ed – Teacher & Kip McGrath Centre Director – Urmston, Manchester
Rating by Dawn Chesters on :
We have been using the Bulldog Letter Reversals resources with a group of pupils in foundation and key stage 1 and have been extremely pleased with the results. The pupils really relate well to the characters used in the materials, and the hands on nature of the materials.
It’s been great to have a wide selection of materials to draw on because it has allowed us to revisit the letter formation in different ways to really embed it with the children. They enjoy going back to old favourites and also experiencing new materials, and it’s really helped them to embed the letter formation, with all of them now forming their letters correctly.
The materials are simple to use and can be used by teachers or TAs with a small group or 1 to 1. The pack has been very well thought out to provide you with such a wide range of resources. It’s been interesting to see how some children have preferred certain styles of activities, but the end result has been the same – improved letter formation – happy children and happy staff!!!
