We are just writing to say thank you for the tuition that you gave our son. The Phono-Graphix work in English has been really fantastic and beneficial. As you know our son was only getting 2/10 spellings at the most each week. Since his return to school this term, he has achieved 12/12 each week and 36/36 in the three week spelling challenge. His reading has also improved. He seems more able to concentrate and work words out based on the work you did with him. We knew our son Todd aged 7 needed a lot of extra help with his reading. After speaking with several tutors we realised that it was not going to be an easy task to find the right person to suit our son’s needs. then by chance we came across Sue Kerrigan, she listened, and in return filled us with confidence. Sue came to see our son in October 2003 when he could barely read. After only a few weeks with only 1 hour lesson a week we could see the difference in him and his ability to read started to show, which was also noticed at school by his teachers. Now 13 weeks later his reading has improved considerably with him no two reading book stages ahead of when he started. We are so pleased with him and the way sue makes it fun to learn. Reading for our son is no longer a tearful experience but an enjoyable one. Thanks Sue.

My son has recently finished an 18 month course with Let Me Learn tutor, Sue Kerrigan. We are delighted with the progress and achievements that he has made. He has always been in the bottom groups at school, and has always been "working towards" his goals and levels. Eighteen months ago he would have been unlikely to achieve a Level 4 in his SATS tests. A key problem with my son was motivation. We asked Sue to assess him for us. The assessment found that he was probably 1-2 years behind,his memory,motivation and concentration being poor. He embarked on the Phonographix course, which he accelerated at. He then worked on his reading, comprehension and writing skills to prepare him for the SATS tests. We noticed an improvement with our son within the first couple of months. His school teachers noticed the improvement within the last couple of terms in Year 6. To show proof his scored Level 4's in all of his SAT's tests, and was only a few points off a level 5 in Maths and Science. His reading difficulties had hindered his progress in those subjects.

He is now at Senior school and is in Group 3 of 5. He has progressed 2 groups and due to sit his SAT's exams in Year 8 instead Year 9. He is a more motivated boy and is really enjoying senior school. We cannot thank Sue enough for the achievements and confidence that she has inspired.
I can thoroughly recommend one hour a week of Let-Me-Learn. The results can be achieved and are obviously worth it!"
